“His master replied, well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!’ -Matthew 25:21

The following tribute for Anthony “Dad” Dontoh was written by the children of Agape Global (formerly Nyame Nsa).

Your demise leaves an unfillable void in our hearts. This is not how we imagined you leaving us. It pains us to realize that you would not be there for us, your children, to take care of you after struggling to nurture us. On the 27th of January 2025, we were shattered with the sad news of losing you, our caring daddy. “Daa,” as we affectionately called you, will be missed dearly, but our hope is in the Lord.

We spent most of our childhood with you. You showed us love, kindness, affection, and care. These attributes were not meant for your children only but for any child who came in contact with you. Even at age 60, after your retirement, you didn’t reject the offer to nurture us. Your love and nurturing heart for children were amazing. We, the children of Project Nyame Nsa (PNN) Ghana and Zambia, are proud of you.

As a father, you always wanted things done on time. You counted and valued every second, minute, and hour in your life as precious. Your favorite quotes were “time is the currency of life” and “time is money.” You never accepted lateness, lack of discipline, or excuses for failing. Many of us might have tasted Dad’s reproach and kindness, which has been something to reflect on.

We pay homage to our father, a paragon of strength, resilience, and determination. Your unwavering resolve inspires us to face life’s challenges with courage and perseverance, never letting them define us. Again, your ability to stay positive and hopeful even in the face of adversity was truly inspiring. You taught us that strength is not just about being physically strong but about putting God first, having emotional fortitude, and the ability to keep going no matter the situation. You also taught us that integrity was not about honesty alone but also included being true to yourself and your beliefs. Dad was a serious Christian and a father who taught us to always trust in God.

Even though our daddy is not here anymore, his legacy lives on in the values he instilled in us.

Rest well, Dad.

YOUR LEGACY LIVES ON!!!
