Anthony “Dad” Dontoh
1955-2025
“Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His faithful servants.”
–Psalms 116:15
With heavy hearts and deep sorrow, we, the staff of Agape Global (formerly Project Nyame Nsa), pay tribute to our beloved former administrator, Mr. Anthony Dontoh, who departed from us on January 27, 2025.
Mr. Dontoh was more than a leader; he was a beacon of love, wisdom, and unwavering dedication. His passion for the well-being of orphaned and vulnerable children was evident in every action, every decision, and every word of encouragement. With a heart full of compassion, he dedicated his life to ensuring that every child under our care felt valued, loved, and empowered to dream.
Under his leadership, our orphanage became more than just a shelter—it became a home. He worked tirelessly to secure resources, build strong partnerships, and create an environment where every child had access to education, healthcare, and emotional support. His faith in God and commitment to service inspired us all, reminding us daily that our work was not just a duty but a divine calling.
Even in challenging times, he stood firm, leading with grace, patience, and an unshakable belief in the power of kindness. His impact is immeasurable, and though he is no longer with us in person, his legacy will forever remain in the hearts of the children he nurtured, the staff he mentored, and the lives he transformed.
As we mourn this great loss, we also celebrate a life well-lived—a life dedicated to love, service, and faith. We take comfort in knowing that he now rests in the loving arms of our Heavenly Father, free from pain and sorrow.
To our dear Mr. Anthony Dontoh, we say thank you. Thank you for your selflessness, your sacrifices, and your unwavering belief in the mission of this orphanage. You have left footprints of love that will never fade.
Rest in perfect peace, until we meet again.
With love and gratitude,
– The Staff of Agape Global

To Papa Dontoh: You have done many things in my life. You took it upon yourself to take care of me as your own child and put your name on mine. Because of your words, I was encouraged and was made to feel like I had parents of my own. You taught me about time and guided my efforts to become a better person. You were a kind man and always made me believe I was capable doing great things.

I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to you, my amazing daddy, who played a pivotal role in shaping my life and career. When I was just a construction laborer, you saw potential in me that I didn’t even see in myself. You gave me the opportunity to work at Project Nyame Nsa orphanage, not just as an employee but as someone to take under your wing.
More than just a boss, you became a father figure to me—advising, encouraging, and enlightening me at every step. You instilled in me discipline, integrity, and the values needed to be an effective administrator. Through your mentorship, I grew in knowledge and confidence, learning how to manage responsibilities and lead with compassion.
Because of you, I am not just a worker but a well-equipped administrator, able to contribute meaningfully to the orphanage and the lives of the children we serve. Your kindness and leadership have left a lasting impact on me, and I will always be grateful for the opportunity and wisdom you shared with me.
May God bless you for the life-changing role you played in my life.Mr. Dontoh’s Legacy Lives On Forever!

To my Dad: You were more than just a father—you were my greatest teacher, my role model, and my constant source of love and support. You lived your life with kindness, discipline, and an unwavering commitment to those he cared about.
One of the most remarkable things about you was your kindness. You had a heart that was always open to others, always willing to help, and always ready to listen. You treated everyone with respect and warmth, making people feel valued and appreciated. Your kindness wasn’t just something you showed in big gestures, but in the little things—your patience, words of encouragement, and quiet acts of generosity that often went unnoticed but made a world of difference.
You were also incredibly time-conscious. You believed that time was a gift and should never be wasted. Whether it was work, family, or personal commitments, you were always punctual, reliable, and disciplined. Through your example, you taught me the importance of valuing time, of being responsible, and of always showing up when it mattered most.
Above all, my father, you were loving. Your love wasn’t just spoken—it was shown in everything you did. You provided, protected, and guided with a gentle but firm hand. You were always there for me, offering wisdom, encouragement, and an unshakable belief in my potential. You taught me the meaning of love through your actions, showing that love is patient, kind, and steadfast even in the hardest of times.
The impact you’ve had on me is immeasurable. You’ve shaped the person I am today and left behind values that I will carry for the rest of my life. Your legacy of kindness, discipline, and love will never fade, and though you may no longer be here physically, your influence lives on in my heart and in the way I live my life.
I am forever grateful to have had you as my Dad.– Bismarck Ahiave
